From Los Angeles to wherever the story takes us, we’re here to help bring it to life.

Night Horn Pictures develops and produces independent films through bold ideas and close collaboration.

We work across genres, drawn to stories that explore the human experience and challenge expectations. That can mean finding humor in difficult moments or unease in everyday life. We look for films that engage audiences and leave them with something to think about.

Alongside our own films, we offer producing, cinematography, picture editing, production sound, and sound design, as well as financing for selected projects and ongoing production partnerships. We balance careful preparation with trust and creative freedom, keeping the story at the heart of each project.

Like a train horn in the night, our values signal what we stand for.

They give us the confidence to take creative risks, navigate the unknown, and bring new ideas to life.

The stories worth telling are often the hardest to tell

Great films start with bold visions. And bold visions require great bravery. We are here to champion the stories you believe deserve to exist.

Bonjour, I’m William.

Founder, Night Horn Pictures

Originally from Montreal, Canada, I’m a filmmaker based in Los Angeles.

I am drawn to stories that remind us to live in the present. Experiencing loss at a young age shaped how I see life and storytelling. It taught me to embrace who we are, accept where we come from, and appreciate the life in front of us.

I love using genre as a lens to explore deeply human experiences: grief, identity, memory, love, mortality, and the choices we make when confronted with the unknown. I want to tell stories that are entertaining on the surface and emotionally grounded underneath. Stories that leave people thinking about their own lives, their fears, and what it means to truly be present.

I received my Master of Fine Arts from the School of Cinematic Arts at USC in Film and TV Production, where making my thesis film taught me that a story is worth fighting for even when the odds say otherwise. This is a mindset I carry into every project at Night Horn.

On set and off, I care about people actually being honest with each other. That’s where the real magic happens. My style as a director is collaborative: a clear eye, a lot of care, and a real commitment to a shared vision.

I am fluent in English and French.
